Today I played 9T suited under the gun. Flop comes 4A4 with two of my suit. I bet out and get callers. An Ace turns to give 4A4A on board. I figure I'll bet into the other 3 players and get two callers. So my hand has to be dead and I'm considering folding on the river to avoid embarrassment. The river makes my flush. The three of us check it down and I win.

So is my table image so poor on the turn or am I just playing against idiots?

i go with the latter....

maybe not idiots but bad players.

for me not to fold to a bet on the turn i would have to have a gr8 read on the bettor AND a very good pocket pair/draw.

I feel that you did CORRECT in betting the way you did. If these guys had ANYTHING, you'da gotten the ol' check/raise stun gun or raised back after your bet. As it turns out, your strategy paid off!
